SALES TAX
The buyer is responsible for all applicable sales tax on items purchased when applying for a title. TN sales tax for (Hamblen) county is 9.75% for the first $3,200.00 and 7% for the remaining amount above $3,200.00 per item. Sales tax or appropriate sales tax exemption forms are due at or before the time of payment. Exemptions are Dealer Resale Certificate and Bill of Lading for Exporters.

Terms and Conditions for Online-Only Auto Auction
1. Acceptance of Terms By participating in this online auction, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not bid.
2. Eligibility To bid in this auction, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts. You may be required to provide identification.
3. Auction Process
Bidding will take place exclusively online.
Auction will close at the Rate of 2 Items per Minute. The closing time of each lot is subject to Hurst Auction LLC internet bidding platforms auto-extend feature.
If a bid is placed within the last Two Minutes of an item ending the Item will reset to a time of Two Minutes
4. Registration Bidders must register for an account to participate. You must provide accurate information and maintain the confidentiality of your account details.
5. Bidding
All bids are binding and cannot be revoked.
The highest bid at the close of the auction will win the lot, subject to the seller’s confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse any bid that we deem inappropriate.
6. Payment
Successful bidders will receive an invoice via email detailing the total amount due, including any applicable fees and taxes.
Failure to pay may result in the forfeiture of the winning bid and potential legal action.
All Payments must be made in cash.
7. Vehicle Condition All vehicles are sold "as-is," with no warranties expressed or implied. It is the bidder's responsibility to inspect the vehicle prior to bidding.
8. Title and Transfer Upon payment confirmation, the vehicle title will be transferred to the winning bidder. All title transfer fees and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
9. Removal of Vehicles Vehicles must be picked up day the payment is received. After this period, a storage fee may apply.
10. Liability We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damages related to the vehicles sold at auction. Bidders participate at their own risk.
11. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of [Tennessee]. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of [Hamblen County Tennessee].
12. Amendments We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Bidders will be notified of any changes via email or on the auction website.
